In order to support his artistic effort and to generate employment (especially in Librazhd)

Gezim Hidri in 2008 established the STONESLAVE Company.

This is a company of world class, specialized in restoration, interior and exterior design, monumental ECT.

The focus, is of course in the use of high quality craft natural stone, in order to create carved characteristics, excellent floors with mosaic or stone tiles in different models, the perimeter of indoor and outdoor walls coated in natural stone, plates,sinks,bathtubs,swimming pools, fireplaces,windows,tables,sculptures,monumental ect. All of these are carved and made by natural stone.

THE COMPANY STAFF Includes the artist himself, an architect, field agenda specialize in finding natural stone, people who are specialized in stone working, marketing agenda, specialists in economics and management.

Stone as the first material: Stone is found and selected by the artist himself with his specialized agenda in this profile of stone-finding. The place where stone is found (natural stone) is found in the banks of rivers and mountains in the zone of Librazhd.

Priority of the process in selecting the material has a valuable role in the finding of the stone and selecting it to a high, strong and resistant quality, also what are relevant are the different colors found in them

After selecting the stones, they are brought to the company were they are processed into creation by the artist who also owns a studio ,in center town, were he collects his art work and creates mosaic, sculptures, paintings and stone plates which is open to different people from Albania and foreign to become familiar with his art work.

The working process is divided into several stages

Selecting the stones and dividing them into groups
Cutting the stones
Carving the stones
Polishing it in order to highlight its beauty it contains, it’s applied only on stoned plates and some other work. Most of the works preserve their originality of carvings by the artist. Cutting and carving the stone holds a great challenge for the artist, because in order to turn it into a great piece of art, a great amount of care, professionalism and experience in this area. The company contains modern machinery in order to cut the stone. After cutting it into two or more pieces in the mass needed from the machinery, the stone goes into the process of selection and carving where it turns to a work of art.

The beauty of this idea is that we all came from an Egg' and whats evan more beautiful is the chance that a stone has a "path" which enters the embryo cell (white line which you may see on the left downer angle). The stone itselfe before being carved was 12Ton, Im not sure how much is left of it because I have not weighed it. However the projector of the creation' found the appropriate person to remove the air off the stone where that egg would rely. I am happy that I was trusted to create such an idea and to pull it off.
